Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead SEIT Liaison Engineer. The System Engineering position will be responsible for liaison Systems Engineering as well as training NATO sustainment in all facets of the NATO FLEP program.
This role will be collocated with the NATO sustainment team on-site in Geilenkirchen Germany. Roles and responsibilities will include managing engineering issues and working directly with the customer to resolve questions. The scope of the Engineering required will include the Systems Integration Lab, Software Development Environment as well as the Aircraft. Broad knowledge of modification programs is required. This Level 4 position is located in Oklahoma City with onsite being in Geilenkirchen Germany
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include but not limited to:

  • During integration and testing, the position will require working with the onsite Government Sustainment team.
  • Duties would include understanding issues and communicating those issues to the Chief Engineer.
  • The position will require a self-motivated candidate than can manage Customer expectations and work real time technical issues.

Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or related discipline and 2 or more years' experience.
  • Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years' experience with Systems Engineering principles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships.
  • Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc Experience
  • Experience in NATO ASC2 platform as well as knowledge of current MSEC process.
  • Knowledge of the current NATO FLEP program as well as an understanding of the test program.
  • Great communications and writing skills
  • Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
