- This role must be available to work weekends and holidays.
The Lead Security Officeris responsible for maintaining and implementing protocols that will ensure the safety Glenaire and its residents.
Requirements:
- Willing to respond to all emergencies that may arise during a shift.
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the security division. Including Scheduling.
- Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
- Maintain site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
- Permit authorized person to enter property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to residents, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Respond to all medical emergencies.
- Ensure the safety of all residents.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years supervisory, law enforcement, security, or emergency services experience.
- Able to speak and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with residents, families and staff.
- Always maintain a professional appearance.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
- Minimum of 21 years of age with Valid NC Driver’s License
- Clean Criminal background.
- Able to work holidays and weekends.
- CPR/First Aid Certified.
