Position: Lead Technician
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Overview:
Our security company is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician Installer to lead and manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems for commercial and residential clients. As the Lead Technician Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, networking, and intrusion alarms.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of security systems for commercial and residential clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with low voltage systems, including cameras, access control systems, networking, intrusion alarms and ADA devices.
• Follow project plans and specifications to ensure that installation work meets code and project requirements.
• Work with Project coordinators and project managers to ensure installations are completed in a timely manner.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to improve their technical skills and ensure quality work.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of various security systems, including cameras, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and fire alarms.
• Strong leadership and management skills to lead and manage a team of technicians.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.
• Valid and clean driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Familiarity and/or formal certification with Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Panasonic, Axis, Bosch, CCure 9000, GE, Lenel, ONSSI, Pelco, Salient, and Software House; Equipment is a plus

This is an hourly, non-exempt position with full-benefits; targeting $30/hour with overtime opportunities.
