Duties: Responsible for the deployment, management, and configuration of the firm's enterprise security platforms. Develop automation to support enterprise security activities and test enterprise security platforms. Integrate the security tools with other internal and/or external tools and data feeds. Responsible for developing maintenance and troubleshooting procedures and training the support organization on those procedures. Implement version and patch management and lifecycle management of the security platform. Provide technical guidance to the security operations center (SOC) and the lines of businesses during investigations and incident response. Participate in proof-of-concept and associated reviews of new security products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Security Engineer, Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, Cloud Support Engineer - Security, Business Process Lead (IT), or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Security Engineer, Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, Cloud Support Engineer - Security, Business Process Lead (IT), or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: sizing infrastructure, deployment, and support of a security tool in a large-scale global environment; automating the deployment of vendor software on Windows and Linux machines using Ansible, Python or Powershell; Windows and Linux operating systems design and security; firewalls; load balancers; web proxies; experience deploying applications to AWS using Terraform; HTTP; HTTPS; TLS; complex network designs; cybersecurity organization practices, principles, processes, and incident response methodologies; cybersecurity regulations and policies within the financial sector; Broadcom Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or OpenText Encase tools; working in at least one (1) Agile framework; and working with Jira & version control software Bitbucket & Github.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
