Job Description:
The ODS team is looking for a Lead QA Engineer who can lead and manage the QA operations for data delivery. The candidate should possess expert SQL and Python skills with experience leading a team of QA analysts. The candidate should have experience in working in data intensive environments.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $55 to $62. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. We are currently seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
The ODS team is looking for a Lead QA Engineer who can lead and manage the QA operations for data delivery. The candidate should possess expert SQL and Python skills with experience leading a team of QA analysts. The candidate should have experience in working in data intensive environments.
The candidate should also posses skills as follows:
- Excellent Communication
- Attend Governance meetings
- Handle first level of project escalations
- Provide QA Sign off
- UAT Planning and Support
- Client Demo
- Resource Planning and Task Assignment
- Provide team mentoring, continuous feedback and yearly reviews
- Participate in Scrum events and requirement gathering and elucidation meetings with stakeholders.
- Estimating projects
- Project timelines review and approval
- Accountable for client project delivery
- Accountable for resource management – following procedures, new process
- Jira accuracy and enforcement – including forecasting
- New Hire Training – Each to create a reusable plan that is published and centralized
- SME support for the client
- Standardization of procedures for that client
- Ongoing training of team members to increase knowledge
- Reviewing monthly metrics to identify trends and Root Cause to drive process improvement and changes
- Project tracking and identifying possible escalations for the client
- Hiring – Interviews
- If a resource has given notice – all of the knowledge transfer and what they will work on through out notice period
- Attend and Be prepared to discuss client status in Leadership touchpoint
