Position Overview
As the QA Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes and team members within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies, testing frameworks, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers both onsite and offshore. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.Collaborate with product, development, DevOps, UI/UX design, and other stakeholders to define comprehensive test plans.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Track and manage defects throughout SDLC.
- Proactively identify areas of process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, including the design and implementation of test automation framework based on Selenium, PyTest, and Appium.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD processes
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $90K- $135K (Depending on experience)
