What You Know:
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related realms.
- Experience: 3+ years in QA, with a penchant for software testing.
- Testing Suites: Proficient with tools like Selenium, JIRA, Cypress, etc.
- Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, and other testing paradigms.
- Scripting: Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
The Job:
- 70% of time hands-on to design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and performance test scripts.
- 30% of the time to manage/lead the QA team on automated and manual tests, and be the mentor of QA team members on test automation skills.
- Leads effort to review product specifications and work with others to develop appropriate test strategies, detailed test plans, and test architectures.
- Leads formal reviews of test plans, designs, and requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Suggest and Implement QA process improvements to minimize escaped defects into production.
