The Content Lead Producer oversees the planning, development, and execution of content creation initiatives within the Brand team. This person will drives the content production process, from conception to distribution, and ensures that content aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with the target audience.
The Role:
    • Supports Director, Brand Content, in developing a comprehensive content calendar that outlines the production schedule and content themes
    • Supports the Director in the evaluation of projects, recommends internal and external resource allocation.
    • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to define and refine the content strategy for specific campaigns/projects, ensuring it aligns with the objectives and audience needs
    • Collaborates with Creative Leads, Design team, Marketing stakeholders and agencies, where relevant, in the planning and execution of content projects
    • Defines project scopes, objectives, timelines, and budgets
    • Oversees the end-to-end content production process, from initial brainstorming and scripting to production, editing, and distribution
    • Maintains quality control throughout the production cycle
    • Allocates resources, including team members, freelancers, and contractors, to specific content projects based on skills and workload
    • Manages external vendors and agencies 
    • Manages the budget allocated for content production, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and optimizing resource allocation for cost-effectiveness
    • Maintains open and effective communication with internal teams, executives, and external partners to ensure alignment on content goals and progress
    • Presents reports and updates on content performance and project milestones
    • Collaborates with Marketing, Brand and International offices to stand up a global content production and distribution network
Requirements:
    • 5 + years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
    • Skilled in managing a high volume of creative and content
    • Led and/or built a dynamic team of producers and project managers
    • Passion for mission-driven brands
    • Portfolio of proven brand-defining short and long-form content
    • Expert aptitude in project management tools like Basecamp, Asana, Smartsheets, Air Table etc
    • Versed in all aspects of multimedia content production
Salary Range : The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

       California San Francisco Bay Area - $108,000 - $140,000 per year

Additional Compensation and Benefits : Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
