Lead Printing Press Operator

JOB IS LOCATED IN NORTHERN INDIANA. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG. IS PROVIDED.

Leading high quality sheetfed and digital printing company in Indiana is hiring an experienced 1st Press Operator - Sheetfed for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret job orders.
• Make ready, operation and maintenance of multi unit Heidelberg XL 106 sheetfed offset press.
• Lead press crew and assist as needed.
• Check print quality throughout the runs.
• Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Troubleshoot press problems as they occur.
• Take part in client press okays.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience operating multi-unit offset sheetfed presses; Heidelberg experience a plus.
• UV experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accustom to printing high quality work.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
• Good eye for color and registration.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player.

Great opportunity to work for busy printing company in growth mode. Company is flexible on hours. Can work - 4 10's, 5 8's etc. for 2nd shift.

Starting hourly rate $29 - $34 + health benefits, 401k match, and relocation assistance with temporary housing provided.
