Title: Lead Personal Trainer
Department: Snap Fitness, LLC
Reports to: Corporate Club Manager | Classification: non-exempt
Job summary: The individual will lead, motivate and manage personal training and help drive personal training revenue for the club.
Essential Job Duties:
- On-board Personal Trainers
- Teach Personal Trainers how to administer a roadmap assessment for clients to achieve their goals as well as how to properly secure a client in the sales process.
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer guidelines.
- Take prospective members on tours.
- New Member sign-up.
- Facilitate integration of Personnel Training Products into point of sale presentation to maximize the number of orientation sessions scheduled and packages sold.
- Facilitate all member requests, issues, and concerns.
- Ensure facility is clean and tidy.
- Ensure the safety of employees, members, and club property.
- Develop individual exercise programs consistent with our members personal fitness and exercise goals.
- Organize and conduct events to build community awareness and drive new memberships.
- Increase personal training revenue for the club.
- Keep track of all personal training records for every trainer at the club.

Competency(knowledge, skills, abilities):
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with a variety of clients with different workout needs or wants.
Supervisory Responsibility: NO
Physical Demands: YES; Continual standing and walking during the shift. Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs. Need to operate and perform physical moves on all equipment within the club.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Personal trainer certification from a nationally accredited organization( NESTA, ACE, Copper Fitness, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI, ISSA).
- First Aid & CPR Certified or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus opportunities
- Commission pay

- Night Shift (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Jersey City, NJ 07302 (Preferred)
