Lead Motion Graphics Designer

Japanese Video Game Publishing Company is seeking a Lead Motion Graphics Designer to join their team! You will create graphics to meet a commercial or promotional need.

Pay: $75K-$85K (DOE) plus full benefits
Status: Full time / Direct hire
Work Style: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

・ Create engaging and memorable video game trailers using game footage, graphics, BGM, and SFX. 
・ Create shorts, story videos, live live-action videos to be posted on company social media.
・ Edit interview videos, event panels, commentary, and event showcase
・ Create sales banners to be used for promotional purposes
・    Create metadata icons and banners used for the digital storefront
・ Keep track of the overall team’s project status, and review and improve the internal production process

Qualifications:

・ Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Motion Graphics, Video Editing, Graphic Design, Multimedia Art or related field a plus)
・  High proficiency in post-production software and editing techniques, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and various plug-ins.
・ Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
・ Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
・ Ability to read and understand Japanese language.
