WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Lead Merch Analytics- Global Jordan role is responsible for gathering qualitative and quantitative data across multiple tools and partnering with our cross-functional partners to create and deliver meaningful insights. This individual will work with multiple sources of information and develop recommendations for ideas or services. They will develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results, provide direction and mentorship to teammates, and communicate clearly to a broad audience. The Lead Merch Analytics- Global Jordan role will solve problems using information from cross-functional partners to implement solutions and work to foresee future implications. They will take the initiative to improve upon existing processes. They will frequently advise others on complex matters, such as in-depth knowledge or conceptual thinking.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
We are hiring for two (2) Lead Merch Analytics- Global Jordan positions: one focused on Men's and one focused on Women's and Kids.
The role requires the individual to possess skills in analytical thinking and merchandising. Responsibilities include gathering hindsight and insights information to identify business drivers across the fields of play, front-end seasonal planning and portfolio management in high-invest areas, and creating a strategy for long-term franchise health. The role will require the candidate to work with cross-functional partners and synthesize data into actionable steps. The Lead will work across the season from creating a line plan architecture to finding opportunities in a seasonal strategy.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The role will work with partners across multiple areas of the business including Geos, Merchandising, Analytics, Planning, and Brand to craft seasonal and long-term business merchandising strategy.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- 5+ years experience in merchandising, product creation, and or retail
- Proven track record of working in Excel and Tableau.
- Possess a strong retail acumen.
- Passion for trends and the consumer is strongly recommended.
