ResponsibilitiesClarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Provides support, education, and leadership to MHTs, serves as MHT representative on CPC committee meetings. Responsible for coordinating with Unit Director to facilitate special patient events.

Must not have documented Written Warnings for policy violations within 12 months prior to filling this position. Must be up to date on all required trainings.Supervision Exercised- NoneSupervision Received - This position reports directly to the Nursing Supervisors, and indirectly to Charge NursesGeneral Working Environment - Hospital setting. Some risk involved in the event of the presence of an aggressive / violent patient.

Works in a well-lighted and ventilated setting, is subject to frequent interruptions, is involved with the patients and personnel throughout designated unit under varying conditions and circumstances. Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to HIV and Hepatitis VirusesPhysical Requirements - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
