We seek a Lead Diesel Mechanic with ten (10) or more years of experience performing diagnostics and repairs on heavy machinery diesel vehicles. You're not a wallflower or stander-by; YOU have experience and know-how to detect, test, analyze, and fix common problems quickly while also solving NOT so common problems with creativity and confidence.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team and have prior experience performing maintenance tasks on heavy machinery.
The Heavy Equipment mechanic is responsible for maintaining all equipment in our fleet in a safe and operating manner along with all preventative maintenance. Must have proven experience in all phases of Heavy Equipment repair, all types and brands, including, but not limited to: Cat, John Deere, Volvo, etc. Applicants must also have strong knowledge of heavy truck repair (5th wheel Tractors and Trailers included).
Applicants must have an extensive, complete set of own tools. Service truck with crane supplied, as well as a shop truck.

- Prevent breakdowns in Heavy Equipment by conducting preventive maintenance and repairs
- Oversee and repair process for mechanical equipment
- Perform repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems
- Follow manufacturer's directions for basic repair and maintenance
- Check integrity of equipment
- Inspect, clean, and lubricate equipment
- Keep detailed maintenance records

Qualifications
1. Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
2. Vast knowledge of Heavy Equipment mechanics
3. 10+ years' of Heavy Equipment mechanic experience on a wide variety of equipment.
4. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
5. Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance; electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems; mechanical systems troubleshooting
