Lead Low Voltage Technician

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Low Voltage installation experience
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• At least 1 year of structured cabling experience (installing J-hooks, beam clamps, etc.)
• Perform point-to-point troubleshooting on security cameras, keyless access, intercom equipment, Low Voltage cabling and gate systems
• Performs regular preventative maintenance to include physical inspection and repair of all faulty devices
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Willingness to travel (in state only, primarily Monday - Thursday, up to 75%)
• Strong customer and team communication skills
• Ability and willingness to use up to 30 ft extension ladders
• Ability to obtain a DCJS Certification

Preferred Experience:

• 2 years commercial Low Voltage installation experience
• 2 years commercial access control installation experience
• 1 year fiber installation (Fusion, Mechanical, SM, MM)
• 1 year commercial alarm installation experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans

· Ability to pass background check and drug screening

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• DCJS Registered
