We are seeking a skilled and experienced lead Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor food supplies and notify management of any shortages or equipment needs
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods
- Strong knife skills for food preparation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
- Knowledge of menu planning and recipe development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
