Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead iOS App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and building iOS applications utilizing server-based APIs. As the Lead iOS App Developer, you will be responsible for leading programming teams, maintaining a large codebase, and refactoring and evolving the codebase to meet changing requirements and needs.
Job Duties:

• Architect and build iOS applications utilizing server-based APIs.
• Lead programming teams and work with other leads/disciplines to ensure project success.
• Maintain a large codebase and refactor/evolve the codebase to meet changing requirements and needs.
• Manage and lead a small team of developers.
• Work with product managers, design teams, and QA teams to ensure project success.
• Utilize agile development processes to ensure project success.
• Utilize working knowledge of App Store Connect to manage users/builds, TestFlight maintenance and management, and App Store release and review processes.
• Use JIRA for ticket creation and management.
• Be able to manage and update a Confluence document.
• Use Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years working in Apple/iOS environment.
• At least 5+years leading programming teams.
• At least 5+ years working as a lead architect.
• Strong knowledge of iPhone development and deployment.
• Working knowledge of Xcode and Swift language.
• Knowledge of iOS frameworks, push notifications, UIKit, CoreAnimation, Git, cocoapods, JSON, Observer/notification, MVVM, and other patterns.
• Experience with build systems such as AppCenter and Xcode Cloud.
• Experience with Scene kit/3D engines, building custom UI controls, and 3D principles, rendering, and animation for performance in mobile space.
• Ability to grok a large existing codebase.
• Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Zeplin, Lottie, and Adobe After Effect.
• Knowledge of Branch, Braze, Segment, UXCam, Loggly.
