Lead Installer

Due to record-breaking growth, we are actively seeking experienced Installers and Crew Leads for 3-4 person crews throughout Fresno, Norcal area, ensuring timely completion of residential PV solar electric installations and following best installation and safety practices. The ideal candidates will be experienced team players with high attention to detail and pride in their work craft.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

• Lead or participate in the work of team members at job site in a professional manner, answering questions and providing instruction as needed
• Interact with customers to answer and direct questions as needed
• Read and review blueprints and plan documents
• Install racking systems and modules as designed
• Run conduit and wiring on roofs
• Configure and complete electrical wiring of the solar system (AC & DC)
• Apply weather seal, such as pipe flashings and sealants, to roof penetrations and structural devices
• Complete roof installation on various roof types (shingle, tile, etc.)
• Test operation or functionality of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues
• Ensure job documentation is completed when job installation is finished
• Other tasks and duties as needed

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

• Thorough knowledge of solar electric installation principles and techniques
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and a clear driving record (MVR)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly

• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights; work on feet for extended period of time in diverse weather conditions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience with PV solar electric installation required
• Previous experience managing or overseeing the work of others required
• Previous experience utilizing power and hand tools required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
