Form of workServes as a Lead Human Resource Specialist in a Regional LER office assisting with the oversight responsibility for the functions assigned. Is a recognized subject matter expert in a specialized area and provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a manager.
Qualifications:Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FG/GS-13/FV-I) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Specialized experience is defined as:
- Experience preparing reports and presenting or conducting briefings to a variety of audiences.
- Experience with applying and interpreting labor and/or employee relations laws, regulations and policies.
- Experience facilitating resolution of conflicts and complaints.
- Experience leading a team, working collaboratively with others to establish and maintain professional work relationships.
- Knowledge of FAA LER computer-based programs to include LERIS and CASTLE.
