About the Oasis at Gold Spike:
The Oasis is an Adults Only Boutique Hotel with 130 individually designed and remodeled rooms.
The primary responsibility of the Lead Housekeeper is to oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operations at both Downtowner and Oasis.
Here are the details:
- Train housekeepers on cleaning tasks
- Oversee housekeeping staff on a daily basis
- Inspect rooms and common areas, including stairways and lobby, for cleanliness
- Complete maintenance requests as needed
- Ensure that the quality inspection program is effectively and consistently maintained
- Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests
- Monitor and replenish cleaning product stocks in all housekeeping storage areas
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
- Maintain inventory of linen/supplies
- Maintain lost and found control point
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed
- Perform other related duties, as assigned

- Executes all housekeeping operations in accordance with city and SNHD guidelines and regulations
- Able to effectively communicate in English in both the verbal and written form
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PMS systems
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- Two (2) years’ supervisory experience in housekeeping management in the hospitality industry required
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies and chemicals
- Thorough knowledge of guest service standards and procedures required
