Job Title:Lead Housekeeper

Duties and Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Lead Housekeeper will maintain specified cleaning responsibilities in assigned buildings and should be able to make independent decisions to accomplish the day to day custodial responsibilities
- Knowledge in the operations of building services and related equipment and tasks as well as “best practices” cleaning processes
- Requires interaction with various staff members and fellow team members and the ability to remain flexible while working closely with other housekeeping staff; coordinate specific services across Facilities and other departments as needed
- This position supervises 4-6 full time employees, which includes resolving concerns, assisting with performance evaluations, and providing input on constructive solutions
- This position may supervise students assigned to projects
- May be required to work overtime as directed by supervisor

- High School Diploma
Experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed day to day tasks
Required Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to lead a small team
