- Coordinate cleaning of all areas of the casino, pavilion and back of the house as directed by supervisor or manager.
- Conduct daily pre-shift to advise oncoming employees of section assignments, property information and answer any employee questions.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts.
- Maintain and revise as needed equipment sign in and out sheets. Repair minor equipment and report other repair needs to supervisor.
- Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals with the understanding of OSHA rules and regulations and MSDS sheets.
- Complete departmental paperwork correctly and in a timely manner, including e-mail correspondence, and shift reports.
- Train and develop overnight Heavy Duty porter team to exceed cleanliness expectations, including coordination of online compliance training.
- High school diploma or certificate from an educational institution preferred
- Two years of experience in environmental services field preferred
- Ability to multi-task, dividing attention among several ongoing activities, projects and/or assignments
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Must be able to work grave shift hours, weekends and holidays
