We are seeking a Lead Technician/Installer for a Garage Door company. Ideal candidate can self-manage and run a small team, Can troubleshoot on site and Is responsible with equipment. Opportunities for advancement.
Pay Rate for this job is $30 - $35/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- All expectations of 1st Technician have been mastered.
- Shows confidence and mastery of installs in 2 Trades
- Can do a Simple Install and basic diagnostics in any Trade
- Shows confidence and mastery of diagnostics and troubleshooting in 2 Trades
- Shows consistency in reviewing schedule for the next day and making sure Truck, Supplies, and Equipment are prepared.
- Proficient in JobFilez. Can effectively navigate a Work Order.
- Can effectively communicate information about site in the Technician Notes Area.
- Knows how to review prior Work Orders.
- Navigate through Linked Jobs.
- Manages punches in/out of Job Sites and Lunches.
- Understands how JobFilez Flows and how it can affect other Employees.
- Manages and Maintains a Company Vehicle and Equipment.
- This includes (but not limited to): making sure vehicles are stocked, and maintenance items are scheduled with Service Manager.
- Has knowledge and implementation skills in Jobsite Safety.
- Makes sure Safety comes first.
- Effectively communicates with and manages expectations of On-Site Contact.
- Ability to lead a Tool-Box-Talk.
- Can plan how the jobsite will run.
- Make sure parts and site are all correct.
- Able to hear others ideas and assess if will work
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Drivers License: Must be a valid drivers license. ***Must not be expired or suspended.***
- Insurable: Driving record must be such that we can insure you in our vehicles. Can pass background check from our Insurance Agency.
- Has their set of Hand Tools
- Can Low Voltage Wire all Panels & Eye types
- Can Weld at a Basic level. Has Welder on Truck and knows how to maintain welder.
- Can Pull, Tow, Back-up, Tie Down, & Secure a Trailer
- Follow and understand product Manuals & Industry Terminology
- Can install, troubleshoot, & diagnose issues in 2 trades.
- Ability to manage crew of 1 (at a 1st Tech level) Does not need to be strong on teaching your Trade but appreciated.
