Lead Game Producer

Location: On-Site - Las Vegas, NV

Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Game Design, Mathematics, Art, Computer Science, or other game design related field
• 5+ years of leading a team of 3 or more
• 5+ years of land-based casino gaming experience

Our client in the gaming industry creates, engineers, licenses, and leases both hardware and software through their proprietary network for casinos. They also provide various support and maintenance services.

About the Role

The Lead Game Producer will work closely with the VP of Game Development and lead multiple game studios in game creation and delivery efforts. This person will create the development schedule and roadmap for timely delivery of milestones. It will also be this person’s responsibility to implement and execute a game portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for all deliverables and estimates
• Plan, organize, and direct resources to design, build, and deliver games
• Create math and gameplay design that meet business objectives and game portfolio strategies
• Maintain all documentation required for game development and submission to external regulators
• Manage the development of several slot games simultaneously through the process
• Prioritize and assign tasks using JIRA
• Play games throughout development to ensure functionality and production meet standards
• Define and communicate team goals while motivating, mentoring, and recognizing direct reports
• Guide design review process and make final decisions
• Actively participate in all phases of development including planning and analysis, design, development, and testing
• Communicate and reinforce the team's understanding of the portfolio vision and strategy
• Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products and technologies

Candidate Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with traditional game development workflows and technologies
• Understanding of land-based casino slot games and the casino industry in general.
• Deep understanding of the current casino landscape and market trends
• Ability to work with multiple creative and technical team members including mathematicians, artists, engineers, and testers
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in managing small and medium sized teams
• Experience working in a professional team environment and following/improving software development methodologies
• Leadership capabilities and experience supporting, motivating and mentoring your peers and subordinates
