We’re looking for a Lead Full-Stack Developer to join our ranks. In this role on the Application Solutions team, you’ll use DevOps and Agile processes to manage development and quickly deliver desired functionality. You’ll own all aspects of the development process, from UX planning to deployment, for Commonwealth applications.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining various applications, services, and integrations for both external and internal users
  • Analyzing and understanding user requirements, proposing solutions, and creating and reviewing software designs
  • Integrating applications using API-led and cloud-first architectural design patterns with in-house custom applications and third-party SaaS providers
  • Providing technical leadership to 3–5 full-Stack Developers on various integrations as well as guidance and oversight that ensures alignment with enterprise architecture and development standards
  • Coaching developers to help them achieve the highest levels of productivity
  • Conducting code reviews

 

Core Strengths and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field; master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and managing applications
  • Strong foundation in software development fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, time/space complexity, and design patterns
  • Proven ability to translate key business requirements into application design
  • Ability to create and review architectural diagrams, flowcharts, and road maps to identify completeness, areas of concern, and use of best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across technologies

 

In our technical environment, we use a variety of programming languages, including C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java. Other technologies include React, Angular, Node.js, ASP.NET, MVC, WinForms, WFP, MS SQL Server, NUnit, microservices, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQLMI, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Service Bus.
