Lead Foster Parent Mentor
The Lead Foster Parent Mentor position is responsible for onboarding and direct supervision of Foster Parent Mentors in the applicable regions. The Lead will occasionally provide Foster Parent Mentoring services to Caregivers referred by DHS. Leads provide regional based oversight of referral procurement and assignment and establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with key regional stakeholders and partners. The Lead will ensure referred Caregivers in the region receive high quality, individualized, appropriate services to assist them in developing the skills needed in order to maintain and stabilize the placement of a youth in their home.
About Your Role:
Provide direct supervision and oversite to Foster Parent Mentors in the CSCS program
Communicate with Regional Resource Coordinators and Caseworkers to procure new referrals
Respond to referrals for new consumers within 24-hour timeline
Assign worker to new consumers, track caseloads
Track expiration dates of authorization and ensure services are extended or closed according to deadlines
Ensure timely completion of service plans, case notes, and reports (includes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting)
Weekly monitoring and tracking of billable hours in assigned region.
Complete a minimum of three file audits per quarter for each staff
Coordinate monthly staff meetings via zoom or in person
Coordinate at least one quarterly staff meeting in person
Identify areas of improvement in order to provide exceptional service
Document and communicate any performance issues of supervisees to the Director of Community Programs
Coordinate a reoccurring time for a weekly supervision meeting with each staff individually
Complete at least one Supervision Note per month for each supervisee
ADP- managing employee timecards and schedules
May carry a caseload of 1-3 Caregivers
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or company

Supervises approximately four (4) FTE
Received:
Works under the general supervision of the Director of Community Service Programs.
Qualifications:
Education
A minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Experience
2 years of relevant experience (additional education may substitute for years of experience)
1 year of supervisory experience
Preferred experience as a Resource or Foster Parent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver License with clean driving record
CPR/First Aid provided by agency
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) provided by agency
Tier 1 Collaborative Problem Solving- provided by agency
Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
