Position Overview
The role of the Lead Electrician is to install control systems as directed by Control Concept’s project manager and project engineer.
Job Duties
- Install conduit
- Perform low voltage wire terminations
- Install DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers and other control components
- Complete work on construction sites, follow required safety measures and coordinate work with other trades (ie: electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers)
- Adhere to project timelines including estimated /budgeted manhours and required processes
- Document work and procedures
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of electrical experience in commercial settings installing conduit, wire terminations, DDC controllers and other components
- Install and bend ½”, ¾”, and 1” rigid and EMT conduit
- Must have ability to lead small crews
- Must be organized
- Read and understand mechanical plans and wiring diagrams
- OSHA 10-hour training preferred (company will provide if needed)
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Able to demonstrate initiative, proactive approach to daily tasks and independent decision-making skills
General Requirements
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Possess valid drivers license
- Willingness to work flexible schedule (including weekend projects, as needed). Overtime may be required in meet project deadlines
Compensation
- Wage range starting at $23-$26/hr based on qualifications & experience
