Lead Driver

We are seeking a reliable Lead Driver to join our team. As a Lead Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, and personnel to various locations in a safe and timely manner. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles
• Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
• Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
