AAMA is looking for an experienced Lead Counselor to oversee and guide counselors in providing Medication Assisted Treatment counseling services to clients with a history of opiate dependency. The Lead Counselor will be responsible for being sure that the LCDCs and or CIs are managing their daily operations to achieve program goals and maximize client services.
As Lead Counselor your duties also include guiding and reviewing Intern counselors through their State required hours for future licensure requirements, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring City, State and Federal regulatory and company policies and standards are upheld, and preparing operations and financial reports. Under the direction of the Program Manager, you will also take the lead in implementing and overseeing counselor duties, maximizing their caseloads, billing management, nurture and develop current and future referral sources. To be successful as a Lead Counselor, you should be able to lead and manage people, ensure client services run smoothly, assure the fidelity of each program is followed and achieve programs performance measures.
Ultimately, a top-notch Lead Counselor should be able to perform efficiently in a highly professional environment, demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as ensure professional and empathetic communication with clients is being provided by all counselors. Lead Counselor reports directly to the Program Manager.
