Lead Certified Medication Aide

Hillcrest Health Services is looking for a Lead Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Hillcrest Grand Lodge in Papillion!
The Lead CMA is responsible to provide quality personal care and living services for residents of community as well as providing leadership, training and mentoring to new PCA team members. The Lead CMA is also responsible for participating in the staffing on-call rotation (one week a month on-call).

What does a day in the life look like?
- Perform medication administration in accordance with regulations and five rights as well as resident preferences.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed and as outlined in plan of care.
- Complete monthly summaries and obtain vitals to include weights as scheduled or order by physician.
- Lead, coach and mentor new PCAs in proper medication administration and resident care.
- Provide training and onboarding of new PCA team members.
- Participate monthly in staffing on-call rotation to ensure that adequate staffing is always in place to meet residents' needs.
What should I have to be considered?
- 40 hour Medication Aide certification required.
- One year experience as a Medication Aide preferred.
- One year experience working with the elderly providing personal care services in an Assisted Living or Dementia Care setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
