Lead Cashier

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Cashier to join our team. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash register operations and providing exceptional customer service. This is a key role in our organization, ensuring smooth transactions and efficient customer interactions. Responsibilities: - Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently - Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues - Train and supervise cashiers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Stock merchandise as needed - Assist with jewelry sales and electronics sales as required - Handle phone calls with professionalism and proper phone etiquette - Communicate effectively with customers and team members - Multilingual skills are a plus, as it allows for better communication with diverse customers - Drive sales by promoting products and upselling when appropriate Requirements: - Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role - Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail - Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer complaints or concerns - Basic knowledge of stock management processes - Ability to lead and train a team of cashiers effectively - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Multilingual skills are preferred but not required - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join our team as a Lead Cashier and enjoy competitive pay, opportunities for career growth, and a positive work environment.
