COMPANY:
Nicholas Design Build, one of the leading residential design/build remodeling companies in Central Indiana, needs a full-time carpenter with kitchen/bath remodeling skills to join our growing team.

From complete kitchen and bath remodels to porches, sunrooms, basements and room additions, our clientele counts on your expertise. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential remodeling experience.
Kitchen and bath experience required.
Ability to do plumbing & light electrical.
Excellent blueprint reading and communication skills.
Complete understanding of the materials & installation aspects of kitchen/bath remodeling.
Able to pass full criminal background check and drug screen.
Driver's License (Required)

- Lighthearted – We like to joke around. We play pranks and jokes on one another all in good fun. Laughter is a must. We all work together, daily, so we welcome the little bit of weird or awkwardness you may hide away. We all have it after all, so let it out! Love to Celebrate... Everything – Christmas Party? Prepare for all the videos and pictures. Flag Day? Pick a country’s flag and dress up! We use every excuse to celebrate. Did we create a Pup Day roughly once a month so our pups can help out around the office? Absolutely! (Mindful of those with allergies of course). We are definitely open to new ways of having fun; all ideas welcome! We are already planning some new things for next year!
- Competitive & Encouraging – Most of us are competitive so not only do we have individual goals, but we compete against each other. Healthy competition that is. It’s one way we encourage each other to get better and learn new skills. Growth can happen much quicker with a team cheering behind you. We compete in other ways too. A few of us workout together, while others are in a volleyball league together.
- Possibility for some remote work – Once you get a feel for the roles and responsibilities of the job and understand the dynamic of the office, we can offer flexibility to work from home as needed! However, most of us prefer to always be in the office. We also often go home an hour or 2 early on Fridays if we have everything done.
- TEAM PLAYERS ONLY – This is a laid-back, light-hearted, fun environment, but we know when it’s time to be professional and get the job done. With that, communication, trust, and work ethic are huge skill factors that allow us to create the environment we have, so team players are an absolute must. There isn’t a single day where you won’t have to collaborate with someone else, so if you can’t do that or you prefer to work on your own, then this probably isn’t the place for you.
