Lead Carpenter

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters in various construction and restoration projects

- Plan, coordinate, and execute carpentry tasks according to project specifications

- Fabricate and install fixtures, cabinets, doors, and other carpentry components

- Perform concrete forming and pouring and finishing for foundations, slabs, and other structures

- Repair and restore damaged woodwork, plaster, stucco, and other building materials

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete carpentry tasks with precision

- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth project execution

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction or restoration industry

- Proficient in various carpentry techniques including framing, finishing, and trim work

- Strong knowledge of power tools and their safe operation

- Experience with concrete forming and pouring is highly desirable

- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
