Role Description
The Lead Caregiver will act in a dual role capacity supporting both the office, caregivers and clients with daily/operational needs. Duties will consist of meeting/greeting new clients and caregivers at introductions, covering caregivers' vacations and sick calls, mentoring and shadowing new caregivers, and supporting the Operations team with projects, as assigned. The position is full time (40 hours per week). This is a great position for someone who likes some variety and spontaneity to their day.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on training to new caregivers and ongoing support to the entire team.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, their families, and the caregiving team.
- Keep accurate records of client care activities, including daily logs, medication administration, and any incidents.
- Address and resolve conflicts or concerns within the caregiving team promptly and professionally.
- Act as a point of contact for any issues or emergencies that may arise during the caregiving process.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that caregiving services align with established standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to address logistical and organizational aspects of caregiving services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program or currently maintains CNA license
- Currently hold a CNA/HHA license in Massachusetts
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
