KIDS NW operates as a locally owned and operated Direct Support Professional Agency based in Oregon. Our focus is on partnering closely with families caring for a loved one with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Qualifications for the Position:
- Minimum of two years of caregiving experience (in areas such as I/DD, Nursing, Senior Support, Teaching, etc.).
- Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek. (Remote and in the field)
- Flexibility to adjust the schedule as needed to support the team.
- Possession of valid CPR and First Aid certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable and adept with computer and technology usage.
- Reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in Behavioral Management.

Requirements:
- Work both remotely and in the field following a 20/20 model.
- Travel approximately 40% of the time within your designated area, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Oversee and manage assigned 50-60 members in your assigned region.
- Foster longevity among caregivers, strengthen relationships with Member Families, and contribute to achieving growth goals with clients.
- Take ownership of meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals established by Leadership.
- Play a pivotal role in developing the next Lead, cultivating a successor within your team.
- Conduct regular observations of team members' shifts (1-2 per month).
- Schedule and/or conduct meet-and-greet sessions & home visits with families and caregivers as required.
- Collaborate with and coordinate efforts across various teams within KIDS to establish connections and uphold a unified team approach.
Each Lead is expected to:
- Attend scheduled meetings, with most being conducted virtually, while some may be in person.
- Submit a comprehensive quarterly observation sheet for each team member. This sheet should encompass goals, areas of growth, identified opportunities, coaching plans, and feedback from families.
- Update systems promptly with all interactions involving caregivers and Member Families.
- Develop and implement a team-specific development plan aimed at addressing areas of improvement, including but not limited to:
- Caregiver turnover
- Member turnover
- Hours overage
- Unauthorized overtime
- Shift notes
- Communication
- Behavioral support training
