Work you'll do 

  • Lead team on Deloitte's application for managing unemployment insurance.
  •  Onboarding and training new Business Analysts, including functional training, and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Create standard operation procedures, tools, and task templates for the BA team.
  • Validate and review the BA team's work, planning, estimating work, forecasting demand, and assigning work.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dealing with ambiguous instructions, and be able to adapt to changes quickly and communicate these messages to the BA team in a timely manner.
  • Review and analyze the client's business requirements, map those to Deloitte's solution (uFACTS) features and specifications, perform fit-gap analysis, and document the gaps.
  • Conduct Joint Requirements Management (JRM) sessions with the client business subject matter experts (SMEs) to demonstrate Deloitte's product features and verify and elaborate client's corresponding requirements.
  • Develop, draft, and update design documents to address business/system gaps.
  • Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with the client SMEs to review, verify, and modify design documents.
  • Draft/modify the design artifacts in the JAMA software.
  • Facilitate the client's review and approval of the design artifacts.
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore resources to clarify development and testing questions.
  • Validate and test applications in the test environment.
  • Demonstrate working software to the client.
  • Liaison with client business team to assist them in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Serve as the product owner for system features.
  • Craft and plan test scenarios and use cases for your functional domain.
  • Review test scenario coverage and ensure requirement traceability.
  • Ensuring risks and issues are documented and escalated through the proper channel

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years of Business Analysis experience.

  •  Ability to work in Lexington KY as needed.
     

Preferred: 

  • Knowledge or experience in State Unemployment Insurance.
