Woodlake Country Club, located in Vass, North Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Lead Bartender. Woodlake Country Club is a gated community located on the outskirts of North Carolina's most well-known and sought after districts, including the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Fayetteville areas. Despite its close proximity to nearby city life, residents and passersby prefer to indulge in the laid back atmosphere and unique amenities that Woodlake has to offer. With gorgeous views of the property's 1,200 acre private lake, a charming historical clubhouse, and two championship golf courses, Woodlake Country Club has been the best kept secret of the North Carolina Sandhills for more than 54 years.
Responsibilities of the Lead Bartender at Woodlake Country Club include:
- Utilizes the point of sales system
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Requests additional supplies as necessary.
- Follows set-up procedures.
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
- Responsible for cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day's end.
- Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand.
- Attends staff meetings as required.
- Assists food servers and hostess' as needed.
- Assists in ordering beer, wine, liquor, etc. as needed.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Knowledge of mixology, wine, and beer.
- Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding guest/member consumption of alcohol.
- Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
