Lead Bartender And Server

SUMMARY
The Stockpot is a busy healthy comfort food restaurant in Vibe District in Virginia Beach. We specialize in bone broths, soups, salads, and toasts that strive to showcase seasonal and local ingredients.

We are looking for experienced Servers/Bartenders to join our small, but fast-paced restaurant! We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry and who are committed to quality food presentation and service. We are looking for a full time, year round employee. All employees MUST be available at least some Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays (these are our busiest day of the week!) We are occasionally open evenings for special and private events. (Monday PM for Ramen Night & Wednesday PM for Trivia Night)

*Hiring full time hours. This is NOT a seasonal position. MUST have weekend, Monday & Wednesday PM availability to be considered for the position.

SERVER/BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- must have strong work ethic

- be on time and dressed in uniform

- complete daily opening/closing duties and side work.

- be able to work in a close environment with other team members

- communication skills and able to multi-task for long periods at a time

- great interactions with guests

- POS experience required

- at least 2+ year restaurant experience

- excellent time management skills. must be quick moving to keep up with our fast-paced kitchen.

- ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis

- must have AM availability, PM availability on Mondays & Wednesdays, and weekends***

The lead server will also be expected to work 1-2 Manager on Duty shifts during the week, as needed. These shifts would be at a base hourly rate, no tip share is included during MOD shifts.
