Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Lead Automated Packaging Line Coordinator. You will be responsible for overseeing development and execution of the facility Automated Packaging Line. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Description

• Ensure Packaging Line is taken care daily of by, prepping it, adjusting it, changing out the product.
• Operating the machinery used for packaging products in the processing facility daily.
• Starting up and stopping the machine as necessary, including refilling packaging material.
• Performing routine checks to ensure that the machine is in an operable state.
• Executing preventative maintenance on the machine and maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the work area.
• Ensuring the correct packaging is used for specific product ranges and that packaging is done in line with the company standards.
• Inspecting final products.
• Reporting faulty packaging or problems on the machines to the relevant managers.
• Moving of completed boxes of products to the correct inventory area.
• Adhering to the safety regulations and protocol implemented in the packaging area.
• Completing all relevant documentation on the packing and maintenance of the packaging machines.

Skills Required

• 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
• Previous experience with packaging machinery/ Automated Packaging Line.
• A clear understanding of basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
• Skillful in stock management and storage processes.
• A clear understanding of health and safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Education/Training/Certification

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Additional Requirements

• 1 person for shift B - 2:00pm- 10:30pm
• 1 person for shift C - 3rd shift - 10:00pm - 6:30am

Pay Rate

• $24.00 per hour
