Lead Audio Visual Technician

Next Level Technician is seeking Audio Visual Techniciansin the Washington, DC area. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity!

Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From determining the AV needs and vision of our clients to properly installing all necessary devices, our teams are prepared to bring events and presentations to life quickly and correctly. Prior experience in the audio-visual field is required, and lead level technicians will receive priority!

Next Level Technician offers weekly pay and the opportunity for a signing bonus. OSHA, BICSI, and Aerial Lift certifications are preferred but not required. Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, or Lutron systems is a huge plus. Candidates looking to expand on their existing skillsets and eager for longevity in the audio-visual field can find a home here!

Audio Visual Technician Responsibilities:

· Familiarity with all associated wiring for Audio Visual devices, including but not limited to the ability to pull, terminate, and test CAT5E and CAT6 cabling

· Installing both temporary and permanently placed devices in event and presentation spaces

· Working knowledge of various audio-visual devices, such as speakers, monitors, projectors, screens, microphones, podiums, lighting equipment, etc.

· Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and adjust on the fly

· Mounting monitors, cameras, and signage throughout facilities as directed by blueprints and schematics

Lead Audio Visual Technician Requirements:

• Lead Installers on projects; plans out tasks to meet job completion deadlines
• Programming of systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues.
• Tests inputs/outputs and terminations.
• Marks up drawings when changes are made.
• Experience with CTS-1.
• Ability to read A/V drawings.
• 5+ years of experience.
