TITLE: Lead Developer – Application Architecture
LOCATION: Remote, Hybrid option in Portland
PAY: Target pay for this role is between $80 and $90 per hour but may vary based on experience
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract
DURATION: Contract expected to last until September
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- This is a Senior Engineer position requiring software architect skills.
- Lead the architectural consulting for the eFlex project.
- Collaborate with current architects to transition from on-premises to cloud-ready, ensuring cost optimization.
- Hands-on software engineering, including code review and debugging.
- Dive into key user stories and deliver the first functional results by March.
- Work with various technologies, including Java, Angular, Kubernetes, AWS, and MongoDB/NoSQL.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 7+ years of experience as a software developer with significant expertise in cloud architecture and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in AWS and MongoDB/NoSQL databases.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident communicator, able to align work and teams, including offshore development teams.
