Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice to and guide the team in building, developing, or designing functionality for a product, as well as guide and ensure the ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Capital Markets - Product Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Support development of the design strategy for new products.
  • Act as team lead on implementation process for new products.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Lead team members on the product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure product strategy is in alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in a cross functional Agile team, as a Senior Product Owner, with ability to lead a cross functional team, and mentor junior teammates
  • Knowledge of the mortgage lifecycle, MBS pooling, hedging, and trading concepts
  • Previous experience with Optimal Blue LLC’s, CompassPoint Software
  • Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
  • Experience working with a vendor COTS product to test product upgrades and enhancements.

 


Skills

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Product Management including managing demand, releases, and backlog
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS

  • Skilled in SQL
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience using JIRA
