LCSW Psychotherapist - RUSH Wellness @ RUSH Oak Park Hospital ($5k sign-on bonus)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedLicensed Clinical Social Workerto bepart of our team under Integrated Mental Health in the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department at RUSH University Medical Center!

The LCSW psychotherapist will directly contribute to this mission by providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, and care management services to RUSH employees and students ("clients").The LCSW psychotherapist is expected to become deeply familiar with and contribute to RUSH Wellness programming, services, and resources in order to share this information with clients and forward the vision of the RUSH Wellness initiative.

This position offers a$5k sign-on bonus. This position will be a part of the RUSH Wellness initiative at RUSH Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, IL and will be a part of the larger RUSH Wellness team that is based on the Chicago campus.This is a full-time position and is a hybrid work from home arrangement, providing both in-person and telehealth psychotherapy. The LCSW psychotherapist will join a welcoming and positive work environment with significant opportunities for leadership development and growth.

The LCSW psychotherapists on this team receive both individual and group supervision and have access to continuing education opportunities throughout the hospital system. This position will report under the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) department to access advancement opportunities like the performance enhancement ladder and National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Position Responsibilities:

  • Forwards the mission and values of the RUSH Wellness initiative, including promotion of individual well-being.
  • Promotes and builds out the role of the Wellness psychotherapist at RUSH Oak Park Hospital.
  • Conducts regular appointments with clients, including diagnostic assessments, therapy, and care management services.
  • Establishes a positive and trusting relationship with clients.
  • Continuously assesses clients and re-evaluates treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Refers clients to outside mental health support and/or agencies as appropriate.
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality of each client and their situation.
  • Records, maintains, and signs documentation according to standards outlined by the Director of Integrated Mental Health.
  • Manage client load and schedule, including appropriate correspondence and documentation to support excellent client care.
  • Implements outlined rapid triage and assessment algorithms in order to provide clients with appropriate treatment plans, as directed by the Director of Integrated Mental Health.
  • Provide support to RUSH Wellness programming as appropriate, including contributions to monthly communications, trainings, webinars, and other services.
  • Support daily operations at the Center for Clinical Wellness by maintaining high quality client experience.
  • Exemplifies the RUSH mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with RUSH policies and procedures, including complying with all RUSH University Medical Group Customer Service Standards.

Other information:
Required Job Qualifications:

  • Master s Degree in Social Work.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois.
  • Two years experience in healthcare, care management, mental health and/or social services.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with relevant population(s).
  • Professional qualities such as initiative, self-reflection, commitment, responsiveness and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of care management, community-based interventions, assessment, counseling and/or motivational interviewing.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office and others).
