SalaryEssential Functions:
- Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns using power equipment or hand tools
- Spreading top soil, laying sod, planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees
- Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to lawns and gardens
- Raking, blowing, or removing debris from yards
- Aerating, dethatching, overseeding, and watering lawns
- Installing artificial turf and other synthetic grass products
- Pruning and trimming hedges and trees
- Advising clients on lawn care practices and maintenance
- Painting equipment
- Painting walls
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to work in cold/hot temperatures
- Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; and crouch
