Lawn and Grounds Keeping

Responsible to: Operations Director

Job Status: Part-Time Seasonal – approximately 15 hours per week,

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license
• General knowledge of and experience with lawn care equipment
• Maintains a high level of personal responsibility and follow-through
• Displays a calm, humble demeanor with a positive mindset; learns from feedback and strives to meet clear expectations given by staff and volunteer leads
• Team player with strong work ethic; careful attention given to safety and details
• Displays consistent spiritual and moral character

Responsibilities and Duties:

• General expectation of 2-3 hours a day, Monday-Friday
• Operate the riding lawn mower with safety and precision. (Must be over 16 years old with a valid driver’s license to operate equipment)
• Follow all safety protocols for equipment and Groundskeeping.
• Mow the lawn twice a week; edge according to the schedule
• Provide grounds maintenance as outlined on the weekly schedule; this includes edging, weeding, pruning, planting and general cleanup
• Other duties as assigned
