Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Kohler generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. From power generation to light construction to grounds care - we have the machines, equipment, parts, programs & service to help you get the job done.

Our Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for lead generation and sales of Outdoor Power Equipment to both retail and external customers.
Our Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for:
- Making sales contacts over the phone and via e-mail
- Developing a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail activities, and networking
- Managing selling activities to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Working with customers to sell, resolve problems, and answer questions
- Seeing and continuously developing knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing, and tactics, and communicating this to relevant Company staff
- Following up on quotes and selling benefits of choosing BPS
- Providing ideas to Marketing and Sales Managers that will help grow the product line and participate in Marketing Events
- Managing the showroom floor including inventory and cleanliness
- Assisting the accounting department with payment collection
- Attending sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, regulations, and products in the marketplace

Requirements
Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements:
- 2+ yrs industry experience preferred
- 2+ yrs experience in sales desired
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Excellent customer service, listening, math and presentation skills
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times including a professional appearance
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
