We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for laundering clothing, linens, towels, and other items in a timely and efficient manner. This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for cleanliness.
Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold clothing, linens, towels, and other laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers
- Inspect items for stains or damage and treat them accordingly
- Ensure that all laundry is properly labeled and stored
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and ordering as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality laundering results
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
