Laundry Attendant

Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming, which include wearing a correct name tag when working.
• Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures.
• Always comply with Fusion Hospitality standards and policies to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Sort all linen according to size, type and color.
• Size and stack sheets for distribution to guest floors.
• Ability to determine different sizes and different folds necessary to distribute linen to various departments.
• Ability to operate all equipment in an efficient manner and to practice safety procedures by following Ecolab guidelines.
• Pre-treat all stained linen before washing.
• Know location of Material Safety Data Sheet book for emergency procedures.
• Compare linen requisitions to actual count daily.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Manager.
• Keep work area cleaned and organized.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Attend or all training/meetings as required by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Weekends as needed
