Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:
Fairfield Inn & Suites Hagerstown, a Cohenterprises owned and managed company, is looking for a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and guest laundry are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and guest laundry
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage before laundering
- Operate commercial laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of soiled linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns regarding laundry services

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for different fabrics and materials
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
