Laundromat Attendant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Attendant to join our team on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, generally from 9 till 3 or 4 depending on the workload. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facility. If you have a passion for hospitality we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information
• Basic computer skills to look up customer preferences and create invoices for laundry orders
• Sorting laundry items by color, size and material; washing laundry with commercial equipment following proper sanitization protocols, unloading laundry from commercial dryers, wrapping laundry for pickup or delivery to customers
• Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
• Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment
• Assist with dry cleaning services as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working in a busy environment, following stringent guidelines to ensure that clothing, linens and other items are clean and sanitized to meet quality standards
• Great customer service skills when handling customer and guest requests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift
• Attention to detail when sorting colored items and handling delicate fabrics
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer issues and complaints professionally

Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.92 - $20.23 per hour
